Default How is airtronics service?

Hi guys
has anyone send in thier airtronics products ?
how is service? and what is the usual turn around time?

Would like to send in my old m8... having some glitch problems and everytime I hit something with it it "beeps" and it gliches (I don't hit it hard)

My guess is with hitting something it is making the battery tray move. If it is loose, it will lose connection momentarily and shut down the radio. When it shifts back, it turns back on. I took a business card, folded it in half and taped it to the bottom of the battery tray. This tightens up any play in there and does not allow it to move. It will take a lot haarder hit to lose connection now.

I just sent in my m8 a few weeks ago. They had it for about a week. I popped a capaciter in the radio. When I got it back I noticed that they added a foam pad to the back of the battery door. I was not having problems but they just went ahead and did it anyways.

I am lucky enough to live locally and able to get service done in 30 mins when I bring the items in in person. I like their services and the price is reasonable.

From what I've heard from customers, and from my own experience with them years ago, they are very good with turn around, comunications, and service.

Good service and turnaround. Last year I sent them my M8 and a servo. It was fixed and sent back to me within 2 weeks. They did charge me though...I think like 30 bucks. Their secretary called me after they received and diagnosed the problem, and asked for my credit card number

I really like Integy service though because they fixed my stuff for free...twice!
