Outrunner Brushless for Onroad or Offroad Application

Hi Guys.Any idea about outrunner brushless application for onroad or offroad rc car? Outrunner looks more efficience by using higher voltage with amp.

yes, but 2 problems:
1. outrunners are designed for direct drive apps like an airplane, ie, no gearbox.
2. in an outrunner, the "can" of the motor spins, instead of the armature, making it pretty much inpossible to mount it into any car or truck where teh can is what is scwered into the car.
also, if you could get it to work, you would have to gear it to the moon, because outrunners have a lot of tourque, but very few rpm's, which is why they are direct drive motors.
