I did so much stuff for myself in this hobby that I can't remeber them all. Here's a few.

Home made tire truer I did many years ago.

Modified front suspension on a HPI Super F1

Custom made chassis and parts for a HPI Micro RS4

Custom made chassis and parts for a Tamiya F102

Tweak station

Home made top plate and parts for a Mugen MTX3

Retractable landing gears on R/C airplanes that were not designed to have them.

I did other stuff but I can't find pics of them.

I would like to hear your comments.
What I am still doing now is too soak a chamois (sheep-skin-cloth used to dry your car after washing) glove (cut-out and sown up to fit the motor with the vents open) with water and spray it generously with nitro-freeze (I get it canned from electronic shops) just before you race. The motor is still very hot after a race, but it gives you the extra few mm's when needed to cross the finish line.

On another subject guys : On 540 silver can Johnson Stock motors : Still today I use my rubbing compound, brasso, luke warm soapy-water to run-in the brushes on these motors and get the max out these motors. Do you have any other tips to share?

Cheers.
The peltiers will suck a lot of power out of your battery. Unless you can find a secondary power source, it will be tough for runtime.

I've heard of small lipo batterys being used to power onboard peltiers.

Lipo batteries that are small enough to fit in a sedan are around 200mah and rated at 5C, nowhere near enough to power a peltier. There's also the extra weight from the peltier, clamp, and heatsink/fan to keep the peltier cool. Even if you somehow managed to get all of that fitted in there and a working onboard power source, it would outweigh any benefits that it gave.

Mistercrash. Love your work. This is what I like about DIY and RC. We think out of the box for solutions and ideas. Keep the ideas rolling in. Good or bad I think we can all appreciate the time and effort put in.

Do you see the white thing right by the tire? I'm guessing it's that.

Mistercrash ... nice work. Tell me, what tools 7 machinery did you use to make all these? Also, what did you use to design them (i.e. CAD, etc..)?

Thanks!

heres my lastest project....TFmT ... Top Fuel Mini T

its a mini t rear end with novatech 25amp speedy, himark 5400kv motor and i took 5 cells off the pack because i installed a proper dragster front end thats been savaged from my old nitro blaster..

i was running 13 cells then i ran 10 cells n now im running 8 cells....with 10 cells its insane...

the chassis is from plywood..(cheap protoype material HA!)..the proper chassis (if i dont get sick of it) will be from 2.5-3mm carbon fibre sheet and will be slightly longer

im running 1/10 scale axels in the back with 45mm foam drag slicks

I used a few tools that I dug up in Archeology class. A "Hacksaw" and a "file". To design everything, I used three things that you young people hardly ever saw before. A pencil, a ruler and paper

Hey, mistercrash, how did you build that truer? I need a truer, but I don't have 200$ to shell out.

I got help for that truer from a machinist. Mostly made out of aluminum stock with a couple of steel tubing, brass sleeves, bearings and threaded rod. A small brass pulley was made for the motor shaft and a plastic pulley for the shaft that the wheels mounted on. A big fat O ring served as a belt.
