Tough question. You might have opened Pandora's Box. Right out of the box, the Xray is completely tunable without purchasing needed items to change geometry of the car. In the near future, Xray is putting out a racer version of the Evo2 with a price tag much lower than the Evo2.

Andrew... TC3 or Losi.... parts Issues with the X-Ray are a problem but if you wait a little bit for the "Sport" version of the X-Ray there may be more parts available..and much cheaper. I think the sports version will be just about the same thing as a EVO2 but just with the composite parts...which is nice.

Talk to Mike Sutherland if you want a X-Ray. I think he is selling one of his and he keeps his stuff in good condition.

I'd rather have the Losi. I have an copy of Rc Car action magazine and it shows the stats of each car they tested. And the cars were all stock. I don't get why they said stock when the tc3 was it FACTORY Team. I think they should have used the racer kit. WEll of course overall the LOsi xxx-s(STOCK) tied in first with the yokomo m4rtc in performance. The x-ray was second place for best craftsmanship! And the losi xxx-s won because it's easy setups and how it was cheaper then the Mr4tc.
