Thats all its about, just having something to complain about. Myself, Im glad that LiPo Tech. has migrated to RC.

Yes they were.

So I just took out the meter to check for correct polarity (just to be sure)... then I carefully removed the decal, turned it around and reapplied it.

Just wanted to mention it... It is always good to check your batteries before you use them.

Just wanted to say how i'm stoked how good this product is. After 3 months of not using it and just storing it in a cool dry place fully charged, I charged it last sat and only put in less than 200mah then after that used it then and there. It was as good as the day I bought it. Both the platinum and carbon. if thats not bang for the buck I dont know what is. My batts would actually last longer than my kit this time me thinks.

Default Li-po 3200 first charge

Hi guys !

Well, my Team Orion Avionics Advantage charger has just arrived.

Here is my question : about the first charge of my new Li-po 3200 carbon edition, must I charge it or must I use it in my car and then charge it ?

By the way, any idea of the runtime with a mamba max 7700 combo on a XXX-S G+ ?

Cheers.

Out of the package, they come 50-60% charged. You should charge it before running it in your car.

Nexus Racing,

Thanks for the answer.

I charged my new li-po pack yesterday. You were right. I could add 1400mah only. So, it was already charged at 60%.

Gonna hit the track sunday.

Any idea about the runtime with the mamba max 7700 on a sedan ?

Cheers.

bump for a great thread.

Been running these in my BK2. Been fishing for a decent setup. Getting close. Also running these in my type R, rubber tires on carpet racing. A few tweaks and that thing is gonna be moving to the front. Love these batteries.....

Yesterday while practicing ..

Ran once ,switch pack`s and went out again ....

Car felt slower, was really hard to make this big azz jump Brownie designed...

I could clear the monster , but only every other lap....

after 5 or 6 minutes of running this way....

Thought to myself ..

Dang ! This is it , I finally done worn out
one of these new Carbon`s 3200`s ...

pull off the track and put it on the charger ...

humm.. 7.0 volts !

Its all GOOD !!!

I just forgot to recharge the thing ......

A true story .....

I Loaned out a 3 of my 3200's last weekend...and it was noticed that 2 of them were out of balance by over 500 ma.

I bought these two packs used and have no idea how many runs they had on them...the one I had purchased NEW was still virtually perfectly balanced...

NO performance issue was felt w/ the out-of-balance packs...

They sound like they have been abused which is why they are out balance. The original owner may have abused them and sold them before having to deal with this issue. We see this a lot with Nitro engines the majority of calls we get from people having trouble tuning their engines have gotten the engines used.

I would recommend balancing them either by charging each cell or using a balancer.

How many runs will a new 3200 give if it is run for 5 minute races in a stock buggy? After a certain number of runs, should i balance a pack to make sure the cells are equal? Thanks
