Do you guys think Much More's "Power Master Mini" would be an adequate power supply to use with the Avionics charger, doing LiPo at less than 5A? The power supply itself is rated at 6.5A.

Seems like that could be a really nice combination if you're trying to minimize the gear you bring to the track.

It sounds to me like a perfect match. IMHO

Awesome thanks rick

Our club has its AGM tomorrow night, ill be sure to bring up the Lipo question. Funny thing is, last season, we had two NiMh explosions indoors (i was 2 ft away from one!) and im looking to implement a saftey vent box at the club where members can throw there venting cells. Id like to hear someone mention again about the dangers of Lipo....

Yes this would work together perfectly.

Cool, thank you for the answer. That sounds like a good combination if you're into keeping the gear you lug around to a minimum.

I await the shipment of the new packs with bated breath!

I use two of the Advantage Flight chargers and one Advantage Li-Po with a SHE Power 10A supply (this way I can charge any batteries needed including my radio battery micro battery and other people batteries) it has been over a year since I have had to wait to go run. I can store them in a small case long with my Platinums and can easily transport them around and tend to charge them up during the week at my desk. My pit table went from looking like a elctronics lab to now just a car, some tools and a radio.

I don't know if this has been asked or not. Does the race spec lipo pack fit in the JRX-S? If it does, how do you get the pack plugged in once it's in the car? I'm really interested in getting a couple of lipos, but I need to find out if it will work with my car.

Todd Hodge has stated the neither the Carbon 3200 or platnum 4800 fit in the JRXS. But, he has stated that both will fit the type-R due later this year.

I know Team Losi requested an early pre-production sample of both the 4800 and the 3200 Li-Po to make sure there future chassis will accomidate this.

I am not sure if this will done on a future chassis or simply a new chassis component but I do think it was there intention to have some version of the JRX-S chassis be compatable with our Li-Po's.

I just got word this morning that we are still on schedule to ship the 3200 Race Spec battery out the first week in Oct.

Sorry if this has been asked before.
I run an airplane dept in a hobby shop, and know my way around Li-Po's.
The question I have is, I don't see a balance connector on this pack in the pics provided. Is there such a thing on these packs?

I might have just seen it close up, between the battery terminals. How does the balancing work on these batteries?
