Thanks for your help,

I have two 4800mah LiPos and I've been using them for practicing. As we have to alternate between electric and nitro heats (although with the lipo and brushless we can actually "kind of compete" - it is so amazing how faster the electric accelerates and just get behind the nitros once they reach 2nd gear ) once the battery is out the car I put it straight on the charger. I had used each twice a day (during week days, on weekends that's impossible) with no problems and just practicing (real FUN time!!! ). As I always keep them charged, that means three charges a day, two of them straight out from the car. Only thing that keep me out the field is heat

I have a Multiplex LN-5014 and a Duratrax ICE. With boths I get same results. No hassles, no problems. Hope it helps.

It does indeed, Thanks!

Rick & MrAvionics, any other perspective on the topic? What's the officially recommended procedure?

Thanks!
Paul

Officially, you can pull your car from the track and begin recharging immediately for your next race.

Have a look at the Xray forum on the teamxray website, also the T2 forum it will show you how to modify the rear bulkhead so that the Orion platinium Lipo batteries fit.

I have been using them for quite a few months now, no problems once the bulkhead was modified.

Hope this helps
Stuart

I am excited to try Lipo in TC...just have to wait for these packs as nothing fits in the T2 until now...

Please get these out soon...
Thanks,

Also, How did the 3200mah pack hold up in Mod...did it last through the whole race???

The new 3200 will not need modifications to fit in the Xray T2. It drops right in.

Default 4800 and F201

Rick or Mr Black

Do you know if the Orion 4800 Lipo will fit a F201 equipped with a 3racing chassis ?

I just realized you where asking about the 4800's well I am not sure however as long as the opening is not shorter then 24mm you should have nor problems as the 3Racing chassis is very open for battery fitment.

Thank you Mr Black.

I'll check the mesurements and if it is ok I will order a couple of packs.
By the way my son and I wanted to thank you for your constant support at the track.

Is that an update to the Horizon site?

I was going to ask if we're still on track for some time this month?

The 3200 Li-po are currently in production as we speak the cells are being constructed the cases are coming off the molds and the packaging and labeling is complete.

We are looking to begin shipping them in roughly 3-4 weeks that is our goal.
