In case anyone is wondering about storage. My 3200s has been stored since last June. Just charged it today and it only lost 280mah over the 7 months. You could've just dropped it straight into the car

I was always curious about really extended periods of storage...thanks for the update

Just think, Sub c cells would be nothing more than paper weights after being neglected for that long (with the exception of GP3300's, I dont think even throwing them in a fire would hurt those tanks)

Does anybody here know if the new Orion 3600 casing will fit into a Tamiya M03 Mini chassis?
I'm running a M03M Swift and I'm thinking of changing to LiPo for the ease of maintainence.
Thanks

Tan,

No the 3600 will not fit in the mini....The edges are too square compared to the 3200, which has rounder edges.

Between my son and I, I always have ONE extra battery 'pre-charged' just in case I forget to recharge the one I just ran, but when ever possible...I never remove the pack from the car. (GOTTA LOVE IT)
I was already sold on getting an orion 3200 lipo but that statement makes me wonder why I haven't got one yet

Orion's SBS.....I bought it a year ago and modded the 2S adapter to balance the 3200 I race.

I'm now getting into Helis and need the original 2S adapter....anyone know where and how I can buy one? Orion's site does not offer any help, and trying to register on the forum was buggy and I gave up (Received confirmation email, clicked on link and web said it couldn't find my profile).

I have a sneaky suspicion that I am SOL about getting a 2S cable.

I have a dumb question. Will the 3200 lipo fit in the Losi Jrxs Type-R with or without modifications?

Here is the link on Team Orion's web site on how to make the harness:

it fits perfectly without modifications.

whatever you do, don't add weight that car is a rocket when under weight, but you might have to soften up the front end to compensate.

Maybe I wasn't as clear as I could have been.

I have done that, that mod is not the issue.

My issue is that I now need (after 12 months) the original 2S adapter that I cut up to make that mod. Does anyone know how or where to buy the original adapter?

Thanks
V

The Orion SBS is a Hyperion LBA6. I went on a similar quest a while back, and had trouble finding the original 2S adapter. However, I found a 2S adapter that's intended to be used for normal charge rates, which also works fine for balancing.

Good luck.
