No, your answer is if you put in 3.2 Amps in the Orion/Peak 3200 packs (with 2 cells wired in a series), each cell would see 3.2 Amps charge. Now if you put in 6.4 Amps, each cell would see 6.4 Amps etc.

Ask yourself this, our today's standard 6-cell NiMh pack (with 6-cells wired in a series), if you charge it at 6.0 Amps, does each cell receive 1.0 Amps, or 6.0 Amps?

For the same reason with the above 3200 Lipo (2-cells in a series), you have your answer with the 6-cell NiMh. Which is each cell in the NiMh wired in a series would see 6.0 Amp charge, if the whole 6-cell NiMh pack was charged at 6.0 amps etc. Not 1.0 Amps each, etc.

4wd,

Thank you...and of course you are right.

I got backward in my brain...these are 2s1p (Not 2p1s) DOH! otherwise they would still only be 3.7 volts. (I need more MONDAY MORNING COFFEE)

Actually it was I that made the first mistake, I didn't catch your post of 2p1s for the Orion/Peak 3200, so in that case, it looks like I need a cup of morning coffee as well!, pass the coffee, lol.

What is the difference between the Team Orion 3200 / 4800 lipos and the Peak Racing 3200 / 4800 lipos? Cos they seem like the same thing to me!
orion and peak 3200 and 4800 are the same.
but now orion have 3600 at 25c witch is cool.

T2 what? 007? If so, I have a pic of mine when I had a 007 last year with brushless 13.5 and GTB.

Okay, here they are. The last picture shows how much material you have to remove on the right rear center pulley bulk head if you want it to clear the 3200 pack. Plus if you want to use the battery strap, you need to shim it up to clear the weights added in. Also, you need to dremel down the battery guides if you want them to fit/secure the battery under the battery strap. Hope this helps...

Once I run the pack, lets say for practice and I run it for a good 8 minutes.

When I get back to my pit area can I just put it back on the charger or do I need to wait a little bit?

I come off the track - and start the re-charge before I go to corner marshal.

They normally take about 1800 - 2200 mah if I'm running one of the slower classes, and closer to 2800-2900 if I'm running a faster class. (We only run 5 minutes though)

Between my son and I, I always have ONE extra battery 'pre-charged' just in case I forget to recharge the one I just ran, but when ever possible...I never remove the pack from the car. (GOTTA LOVE IT)

You can get away with only 1 pack on a race day if the races are 5 minutes and you have 1 hour between each round. I have done this before. But I usually take 2 packs with me. For me running a 13.5 at our track for a 5 minute race...... it would take about 45 minutes to repeak the pack at a 3.2amp charge rate. And as SWTour stated, you can toss the pack on the charger right as soon as you are done racing it. Just don't forget to never discharge the pack down to where the car is crawling to a halt. So when you notice it to start to slow down on the track, pull it off immediately and charge it back up.
