Default 4800 vs 3200

can you guys tell me what advantage the would be in going to the 4800 over the 3200? Is there a large difference int he performance of the 2 packs?

You just get more run time with the 4800's.

The 3200 fit like a glove in the T2 (once the bulkhead and retainer moded...)

Hopefully just two more weeks until an update. I'm more excited about the heavy lipos than just about any other RC purchase I've ever made.

Hey my buddy has 2 of each and the 3200's with the 20c has more everything minus the runtime over the 4800 at 15c in his t4 with a mamba 5700. the 4800's also get 20-30* hotter. Dan.

Does anybody charge their 3200 lipo at 2C with the Ice?

I remember people posting to set the voltage at 6400 and stop at 50%... Can it really be done safely?

Thanks.

I have ebeen charging a 4800 safely with an Ice. I set the capacity of the battery to 9600, set the charge rate to 9.6 amps and then limit the max charge capacity to 50%. Should work the same for the 3200 with these numbers.

6400 capacity
6.4 amp charge
50% max charge capacity

I have the Cellpro 4S.
You need to buy one of these: http://www.fmadirect.com/detail.htm?...121&section=45 and then solder banana plugs at the end. Two regular size plugs for the + and - then you'll need a small one for the balance port. (I think the balance port is 2mm)
