batteries rubbing

Do you add anything to prevent the batteries rubbing? Do I need to worry about them?

Usually, you should sand the slots down to prevent any rubbing of the cell packaging. Also, CA glue on the chassis slots to prevent short circuits. I even used some electricians tape and wrapped it once around the slots to be double sure.

I think its 2mm fiberglass not carbon fiber I’ll put a 5mm bit of electrical tape between each battery.
is fiberglass way heaver than carbon

Fibreglass is lighter and probably more flexible. Sanding may not be a good idea, you dont really want all that floating round, mind the same could be said for carbon fibre
