Duratrax Delphi questions
#1

I'm interested in these. They sound like they would be very competitive with a Tamiya F103. Do they accept Tamiya bodies? Tamiya wheels or tires? Does anybody have one of these? They look awesome. $120 for an F1 RTR car with a bunch of carbon and everything sounds great.

A used Tamiya on eBay would be cheaper and better. And most F1 races are with the F201 now. For $30 more you could get the F201 anyway.
The duratrax has a plastic gear diff. The ball diff is a $35 part. It just looks like a deal. If you weren't gonna race it, it would be fine.

At my track we are going to have a spec class using the delphi this summer. With a little tuning and some new tires (currently working on that) it should be able to keep up with the tamiya.
The $120 model is not RTR, you need to get the radio, reciever and steering servo. For a mere $180 you can get the RTR.

There is no point getting the RTR when you can get the pre-built and get a REAL futaba radio with a spare servo and money to spare!!!
