Default Tamiya TRF shocks to xray FK05

I tried to search a thread for this subject. I have finally bowed to the inevitable and decided to fit the TRF shocks. Is this just a straight swop or will I need to play with the plastic ball end etc to get a good fit.

Use the ends off of your Xray shocks to get some of the length back. Then buy the Tamiya ball studs to mount the tops They work great by the way
