He's lying Just-Bill ....you have to write all your settings for all you models down and then reinput them all afterwards, but you got to reinput them in backwards, then re-VR then reinput them the original way ...it's all in the manual ...no you don't have to reset anything at all, abd it recalibrates the "whole controller" i.e. not model specific.

This is the JR Z-1 manual but is the same for the most part. I found this a little easier to read than the Helios manual.
