Hi cant seem to find much about these here so thought id start a new thread!

i have got a TL-01 and soon to get and FF-02 for my little bro for his birtheday present!!
(i realise these arent great compared to racers but hey a great laugh and hobby for drifting and carpark thrashing)

But we really want a good grass and gravel goin rc car and this MAD BULL seems like the thing for me!! looks awsome and is tamiya so easy(ish) to get parts.

just wondered what their like stock and once moddified with new esc and motor??

I had a mad bull years ago, great fun and are durable, i would say get an electronic speed controller for it though as an upgrade from their mechanical one, can get them cheap enough, lrp do one that is 18 turns and above for 29,99, if you wanted to change the motor, a 19 turn spec would be perfect for it and around 30

runs over gravel well and grass no problems their.

I purchased the Mad Bull Special Edition kit about a year and a half ago, and it is still my favorite R/C car for bashing in parking lots or gravel. With the stock motor it didn't do terribly great in tall grass, but I upgraded all of the stock bushings to ball bearings and put an ESC and a 15T Team Orion motor in it. The thing FLIES on asphalt and does wonderfully offroad. As far as durability, the only thing I've ever broken was the body since it is made from hard, brittle plastic rather than lexan. I'm actually going to be selling it within the next few days since I don't have any time for bashing with my onroad racing taking up all of my time. Know anybody interested in buying one?
