The Sintered rotor is an optional part. I am pretty sure most of the santioning bodies are looking at legalizing sintered rotors though.

No... the release says the 3.5 comes with the sintered magnet rotor.

If you actually read the info in the link, you will find that novak says this is the fastest motor that they will produce.

Nicadraus,

I would have to say that, judging by the speed of the 4.5, the 3.5 is going to be the equivalent of a HOT 6x1. I honestly can't see any use for it in TC unless it's a friggin huge outdoor track. I think the peeps that are going to get the most use out of it are the 4 cell oval guys...

Actually....come to think of it.
My 4.5 is happy running around 10.2FDR

Novak, please tell me the 3.5 doesn't need a crazy low ratio. 10.2 is already pretty low. I seriously can't fit a lower ratio into my car!
I'm running as large a spur as i can. Unless i do some serious grinding of teh motor mount...

Hmmmmm...

now I think of it...
why do these chassis's have to get lighter?

if the motor is too fast and throwing off the car when it starts, how about make the chassis heavier? and make the chassis like the xxx-s, and it prevent the sand and dust get into the gear box or the belts.

so how long does it last? 20 minutes?
