Nosram = LRP

It's the Asian equivalent.

nosram=lrp???how? nosram is a good value and cheap...lrp is quality $$

I hate to criticize a company but “I see what I see” **don’t forget it could be one failure in a million** this motor was a customers and what I think has happened it’s a 12t double they generate a lot of heat and the lacquer that “seals” the windings together has heated up, liquefied and the centrifugal force has flicked it onto the magnets and when cooled it glued the armature on to the magnet drawing massive amount of currant. And also it looks like its thrown a winding but I saw one other motor like that too I don’t know what the cut off bit of coil is? anyway nosram is way far of lrp quality I have a fusion phase 3 10x2 and I know it’s a lot better than that nosram BUT you have to look at the price the nosram is a really good motor just for fun basically to go hard on the dirt or let loose in a parking lot good value.

Nosram the asian equivalent, where on earth did you get that
Nosram are a British based company. They used to be their own manufacturing company but went bust some time back, they were resurected a few years ago (presumably by LRP) and they basically rebadge LRP products in their own red colours and don their logo. They are probably okay but Id say to look at the Orion Revolution V2 Motors, I have a V2 and their excellent

LRP bought Nosram in 2000.

So the Nosram speedies, brushless systems and batteries are actually LRP.

I think the original Quantum Competition design is coming from Nosram. Before buying Nosram, LRP had only the brick size IPC speedos. I don't see how Nosram would be lower quality than LRP when both companies uses the same lines for production Basically all LRP stuff has its Nosram equivalent:

For example brushless motors:
- LRP: 4Star
- Nosram: Storm - http://www.nosram.com/products.asp?id=30

HIGH END brushed motor:
- LRP Fusion Phase 4.1
- Xtreme Modified 2 http://www.nosram.com/products.asp?id=31

Saying that LRP is higher quality than Nosram is the same like saying Peak V2 is worse than Orion V2
