If I get the Hara Twister version of this ESC, do I really need to change the profile or can I just race with his pre-set profile? I will mostly race 19t and less so mod.

It would be advisable, as Hara's profile will lack of "punch" on 19t. Hara's profile is intended for mod. Anyway, it will be a good purchase and later you can buy the KO Multi setting adapter or the serial cable to create/fine tuning your own profiles.

Anyone know if there is a way to get an MX Pro in the United States? I've been reading this forum and looking at them and I would like to try one. Thanks.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Keyance. Not much else out there like the Rapida Pro

Novak has GREAT customer service. And how do I know, because EVERY SINGLE SPEEDO I've purchased from them has had to go back at least once.

I buy LRP, currently have 2 Quantum 2's. I went through 3 GTB's before getting a LRP Sphere. The Sphere was great, it just needed the Spektrum power cap because the BEC is weak. That's the BIGGEST flaw with LRP speedos is the 5.5v BEC. I believe the Q3 has a full 6v bec.

GM is another favorite. I don't think anything is as small as the SX12. Just don't try to program the thing, it's impossible.

Owned a Keyence Rapida Pro as well...nice speedo. larger than the Q2 but the programming was very nice.

IMO For stock racing, " on resistance " is one of the more important factors when choosing an ESC. You want the lowest on resistance possible so as not to waste the extra Voltage of those HIGH priced HV cells you will no doubt want.

Followed by drive freq, programmability etc
