oil based or no? Heard that Jack the Gripper will kill foams after awhile unless you clean it off. How hard is it to clean it off?

Also heard that traction action is better performing. How funky will it get the carpet if you use both traction action and others use Gripper?

Jack is quite easy on foam compare to paragon GE, I find paragon traction action has less grip when using on a mainly Jack the gripper track. Try the new Carpet Jack, it's better than anything I have try except paragon GE but no smell
