I'd like to test 2 brushless motors with the mamba max but not usre if they will be supporeted by the Mamba max...they are the following:

1) have you tried the Mamba Max with the Trinity N60 Brushless motor? I heard that the N60 motor is wound in a way the MM doesnt work well with?

2) the Orion 3.5 Vortex BL motors- does the MM work nicely with them? Which is more power/speed, the Cm36 7700KV or the Orion Brushless 3.5 Vortex?

Did either of you notice that the Traxxas BL esc has sensored motor port to permit it to be used with sensored motors unlike the other?

I have been attempting #1 - The N60 is ridiculously fast. However, I have had troubles with stability on the Mamba Max running that motor.

In general, it seems to work ok outdoors, but on carpet it's a no-show. I've blown 4 controllers during different experiments. I would recommend against running that combo indoors. Outdoors - works great. Blows the doors off almost anything else.

1. Novak Velociti 3.5

2. LRP Vector X-11 3.5

3. Teamorion Vortex 3.5

4. Mamba Max 7700

I know the LRP 3.5 is a little faster than the Novak 3.5 for sure(a bit more watts and less weight)....the CM36 7700kv motor is as fast as the Novak 3.5
I'll be testing the Orion 3.5 BL motor today and see what it can do...

Well - I wouldn't say no problems. I've killed 4 MM ESC's running an EPIC N60. Especially on carpet - too much power draw.

Default Does the CM36 fit in the T1 FK'05 ?

Hi guys,

Here is my question : does the brushless mamba max motor (CM36) fit in the T1 FK'05 ? I read (but I forgot where) that the CM36 is a 550 (not 540) motor-size.

Thanks for the answers.

Cheers,

Blin.
