Default TC4 Racers???

With all of the new tournig cars on the market (i.e., The Cyclone, Xray T2, Corally RDX, Tamiya 415 MSX, Team Losi JRX-S, AE FT TC4, and even the rumored belt driven TC4) are there any racers still driving the Team TC4? Just curious.

Thanks
llamont

Yes, maybe not alot of us, but some of us(like me) still do. I'm pretty brand loyal, & even if the FT TC4 is inferior to the others, it's still a better car than I am a driver, so I don't see any point in getting into that "flavor of the week" thing, I'd rather stick with what I have & concentrate on my driving(but I might try the new belt-driven car when AE puts it out)....

I still run my Team TC4. Was considering upgrading to a Ft when I heard about the prototype belt car, so I decided to wait on that.

Their are a few of us left..I still have mine and do race it. Their are a few guys at my local track that race the FT version. I still use the tub car but as Grizzbob put so well "it's still a better car than I am a driver". I dont think that the TC4 is an inferior car, You just need to work on your set ups and forget the TC3 set ups.. It's not the same car..

Default 3800 4200 fitting in a TC3/TC4

Guys

Do these packs fit well in the chassis?
Do you have to file out the cell slots?

I purchased a IB3800 pack and it
seems the cells are larger and the pack
is longer.

What's you experience/solution?

Thanks Steve. Maybe I'll get one to have fun. I know BMI can make it fast if needed for racing.

Default TC-4 still competitive

A few weeks ago, one of our fast racers broke his T2. He borrowed my FT TC-4, and won the race. Fast drivers make fast cars. The FT TC-4 is still competitive, in the right hands. Thanks; Ernie P.
