Clear Coating Carbon Fiber Chassis
 
Does any one have input on this. I have seen it on a few cars and it looks cool. this link shows a Cyclone with blue flake in it :weird: How do you do this?

You paint it like you paint anything else... Add some flakes into clear and spray away....

Fred (RC Old Man) offers clear coating process to your chassis/topdeck towers. Just PM him and he will take care of you. The blue flake is trick...I saw it Sat in person.

We used to do this years ago in oval racing. I painted real cars so we would use automotive urethane clear. It made the cars a little heavier, but that can be good if your light, since your putting the weight very low.
