That's really interesting there Rick, because my buddy in the UK said you had a Demon Trinity monster motor in all day? It's a small world

oople
is right this is a small world rick & in this very small hobby of ours , bad carma get`s round very fast aswell as jealousy with snidy remarks

pics & throw or give all your other makes of motors away & only have putnam there on your table in your car

There are racers out there that will use you to there own advantage & will quickly stab you in the back
`LOYALTY` is not found in the 27t/19t class i`m afraid (apart from a handfull of drivers)

I believe Rick ran Demon's right up until this round of the nats, can confirm though he wouldn't say he is running a putnam unless he was, he isn't stupid enough to suffer 'foot in mouth' !

Excellent driver, excellent attitude.

Ricky
if guy`s start to come on & say `my mate said ricky is a arse ,i saw him take money for something`
asked them to name there mate that saw you ,usually a lot of it is made up just to cause grief coz they are jealous

strong back bone & honesty is the way to go ,some times the truth hurts , thats allright coz some times there is constructive critisism which hurts a little but does help lot in the uk tracks , coz what works in the states on foam/carpet or asphalt doesn`t work over here with rubber/carpet or asphalt

But it`s better then being a `Kipper` 2 faced & gutless

Thanks Colin

oople

First of all you mention your buddy saw a demon in my car that week well considering there was 10 peopel at southend that week all of good friends thats hard to beleive.

Second of all you say your buddy from the uk saw a demon this indicates u are from another country what person sad enough would go and tell someone else from another country I was running something else unless they were just trying to stir and make up rubbish.

Despite the fact that it sounded totally ridiculous, there was indeed a rumour going round the pits that Ricky was running a Demon motor despite being the UK distributor/importer for Putnam. Anyone with sense would have probably seen throught that one
Good luck with Putnam Ricky and congratulations on your Southend performance!

Edit: Just noticed, that was oople8's first post. Maybe just an account created to stir up trouble? Well it has been done in the past...

Ricky,

Used Putnam products with SD racing before they went skywards, They were fast motors!. Looks like they haven't lost thier speed! Good luck importing them into the UK, i'm sure you'll get alot of old custom get re interested judgingt by you're results!
Anybody who stands up and brings good products to the UK is to be commended!
Well done!

Hey Jolly, you know my reasons for going to EA but I wanted to make a point that I respect anyone who did what you did and bring good products to the racers in the UK! So once again, Well done Ricky!

yep
just pissing about to make you feel guilty (has it worked )

ricky there`s a saying
`shit happens) it`s called jealousy aswell

usaully the ones who have big say & power in this hobby are usaully shelf fillers @ASDA or tesco

don`t forget gear rato`s for your motors @ certain tracks aswell
i know it`s a tuning secret but if little robby brought one you wouldn`t want him to fry it by using wrong ratio

but if you only want `YOUR` user to see this info you can have your own private forum & vet people before they register

Got another good result from the motor this last weekend. Round 6 of the STCC at Snetterton which was a fast flowing track with a couple of slower speed bends. The motor just had bags of power, top end and just kept them for the whole 5 minutes. I won the B final im sure through having one of the fastest in my final down the straight, plus being able to take section one at full power helped.

Again another testoment to the motors !!!
