Default RPM ball cups

Is it true dat RPM ball cups aren't as good as the Associated ball cups. I heard dat they fall of much easier then the Associated ones.

Personally, I like the RPM ballcups. I never broke one yet and I have only popped 2 off in mod crashes. Other than that they are awesome. You also have your choice of colors.

RPM ballcups are the way man.... they stay on better, have less play, and don't break as easily. Plus, like Trinityracinnut said, they look cool in a choice of different colors.

RPM or Losi are some of the best associated cups are lighter, but Schumacher cups and ballstuds are the best....

RMP ball cups are far superior to the AE ones. Just look at the construction. . .

compared to the AE ones that don't have the thick sidewalls. . .can't find a pic right now. . .

Oh well, you can at least see the RPM ones

The only thing wrong with the rpms is with some wide rims, they rub the rims on the rear hubs. I just replaced those with the AE ones. None of them last forever though. I just replaced all mine. The more boards you hit, the more slop they develop.

Default RPM Ballcups

I've found that the RPM ballcups will outlast the Ballstuds many times. Especially Aluminum Ballstuds. The LOSI Ballcups and the new HPI Heavy Duty Ballcups are about the same as the RPM ones, so you have a few more choices.

You should be able to - ball cups aren't threaded, they're just plastic/nylon so you should be fine.

I agree with Impact, the Schumacher ball cups and ball stud are about the best you are gonna get. I have had HPI, RPM, AE, and Losi ball cups pop off on me. I have never had a single Schumacher ball cups pop off. Maybe it is because they are harder than heck to pop onto the ball stud.

Simply change to Yokomo or Kawada balls...they are 3mm threads compared to 4-40 of the AE. You will find that that fit fine..
