I think that Moore won, simply because I saw a breif few seconds of video of his car driving around with noone around him, which would have been towards the end of the run. But... thats still just a guess. Confirmation would be nice!

From Team Orion:
What a main, what a race ! Contrary to the first A main this one provided plenty of action. Since Andy Moore TQ'ed and won the first A main he of course was the favorite and could take home the title if he won this round. The other's didn't want to let their chance go by, so everyone put in a tough fight. Right at the beginning Masami hit Andy Moore and was given a penalty for that, this left Marc Rheinard the lead and he headed out front with Paul right on his tail. Paul then hit Marc who after this incident had to retire. Now up front was Rick Hohwart with Craig Drescher in second. After a couple of rounds Drescher had to retire and left it to Rick Hohwart out front. At the end of the straight while turning into the infield Hohwart was also forced to retire, this left the lead for Lemieux who then didn't let this second chance go by and took it to the finish line first.

Hmmmm, sounds like I was wrong, but also sounds like a bit of a wacky race and a hackfest if there was swearing going on, etc. Hmmmm...

American Paul Lemieux Wins A2!!!
Xray ýs Paul Lemieux won A2 in dramatic fashion. At the start of the race Yokomo's Masami Hirosaka bumped Hot Bodies' Andy Moore causing him to drop several positions. Masami took over the lead but was either issued a "stop and go" or pulled over out of sportsmanship. I was too busy looking through the lens on my camera. When Masami pulled over, Tamiya's Marc Rheinard inherited the lead with Lemieux in tow. Lemieux had the fastest car or was simply driving the best, as he was all over Rheinard. About midway through Lemieux nailed the rear of Rheinard's car because one of his belts broke. Lemieux was aked by the officials to pull over and let him by. Rheinard was out of the race, and before Lemieux realized this three cars had passed him while he waited. Tamiya's Rick Hohwart was now upfront with Associated's Craig Drescher in second. Drescher eventually passed Hohwart, but had motor trouble with his brushless system and couldn't finish the race. A lap later Hohwart's car stopped for some odd reason. At this time they speculate his speed controller failed. With Drescher and Hohwart dropping out, Lemieux took over the lead on the next to last lap and went on to win.

Full Result up for A Main 2 - http://www.afmodels.com/world2/10/fa2.pdf

The winner would have only placed 9th in the first A Main with that time.
