I reckon:-

1) Andy Moore (wins on countback as Marc Rheinard and Andy will be tied on points)
2) Marc Rheinard
3) Atsushi Hara
4) Masami Hirosaka
5) Teemu Leino
6) David Spashett

not sure on the rest.....

At every world championship in touring car, an young driver Win. In generally it's an surprise the name of the World Champion.

My pronostic for touring Car:

1: Hayato Matsuzaki
2: Atsushi Hara
3: Marc Rheinard or Andy Moore

Wait and see.

Default Trivia Question

Who was the last person to win a warm-up event and the world championship in the same year? I can't think of the last time it happened in touring car or 1/10th offroad.

2005
Warm-up = 2wd Cavalieri & 4wd Hara, Winners = Cragg & Cavalieri

2004
Warm-up = ISTC Masami, Winner = ISTC Rheinard

2003
Warm-up = 2wd Cavalieri & 4wd Amezcua, Winners = 2wd Easton & 4wd Cavalieri

2002
?....

Hara won the warm-up in 04.. come on BT! I also don't think Rheinhard was even there for the warm-up that year so who knows what would have happened.

Regardless of all that my pick goes, of course, to an Xray driver. Good luck to Ralph, Paul, Dumas, Blackstock, J-Rod, Jilles, Mybergs, and Vicktor and anyone else I forgot.

Okay, you're right...but it still makes my point. Past results show that the person who wins the warm-up usually doesn't win the worlds. I don't know if the poor results inspire the other drivers/teams, or if the warm-up winner gets over confident, or if there is no relation.

...just more internet fodder...

Hi guys!
i'm Stefano from Italy.
three weeks ago i went to do some practice on the track.....

the fastest was masami.
I think that the yokomo will race for winning.
very fast also mark, but around 5 minutes masami was faster and constant, the yokomoBD seemed perfect while that of mark giust a little understeering.

sorry for bad my english!

bye Stefano
