I know cos I was there testing also as part of Team Yokomo. Masami was simply beaten by the better driver on the day. Andy did an amazing job.
Yeah thats what I was told by one of your teammates John:S
Masami was the fastest guy in practice for the main event, but when the heat was on......Well done Andy!!!!

Hi Vesa,

They'd look even more familiar if i'd have sent a reply to your email in the last 24hrs!!
Think there should have been a folder there with pics of your work, cant remember when i uploaded those but im guessing by the 'familiar' comment that you've found it

Oooooooh, so its YOUR personal album now is it!? :P
Technically, i own the photos, Karl owns the domain (he paid for the last domainname renewal), oh and i pay for the hosting..... so remind me, what part of it is yours? You wouldnt have even found Collegno let alone get some photos

It was in a conversation with andy himself and he told me that Masami had done 4 weeks of testing to his 3 days worth as we all knew that masami wanted to win this year

as for the pics no point hiding them away when there such good quality

I've got some video of it, I took that pic quickly but figured a video might be better to capture it, you'd have to excuse the shakey footage as my nerves arent all that great (which makes photography a whole heap of fun!) but i just need to compress them from the default 70mb to something around the 15-20mb range which shouldnt show on the footage.

drop me a PM and i'll upload it somewhere else as i dont really want half a dozen people randomly downloading this (either thinking its RC related or just wanting to see what it is) at 20mb a go. Likewise anyone else who actually wants to see it.

I've managed to compress the videos down further than expected, and the 2 videos were also smaller than i'd thought (i have a 70mb clip of some random racing, and thought that was the Lancia vid). They're only 3mb & 3.5mb each so the hit on my bandwidth will be managable unless about 10,000 people dive onto it

Hope you like them

The 2nd clip if i'd have only carried on filming just a few seconds longer the guy got REALLY close to me, couldnt have been much more than a meter from me, and kicked up a lovely amount of dirt & gravel!! From that angle, the seating area is just off camera on the left, then the building on the right hand side just before the gazebo (where someone was painting bodyshells the day before, BittyDesign.net if anyones interested, all very good shells) was the entrance to the drivers pitting area.
