Barry Baker told me 10 days ago he was getting a new cast that would allow him to race. The driver stand that jumped out in front of his hand broke a bone in his hand.

Billy Easton has been working extremely hard for this race. He even went to Japan to do some testing. I have never seen anybody work as hard at RC racing as Billy, 12+ hours a day, nearly every day. And he is the Excitebike king too.

Do you think that the rules will change till the worlds?
The "problem" with the magnets which are allowed is really interessting. We had very long dicussions in germany, because both type of magnets are allowed....
Let's see what the Orion drivers are going to use at the worlds, since they're now using the GM Sensor Brushlesssystem with an new sticker on it.

I understand that it something about the magnets, but realy, someone from LRP, Novak, GM or Orion would be albe to describe it 100 times better than me.

Default Brushless

From IFMAR rule book (EFRA same)
Quote:
Only one piece, two pole bonded Neodymium or Ferrite magnetic rotors are permitted.
(my highlighting)

GM also make motors with sintered magnets and they are not allowed.
