You were not answering them Jeff with dumb responses. But others were.

I was not specific enough with my question to begin with. As I did not specify after a stock TC run and the pack discharged at the 30 amp pulse how long would it take to a .9 cut off? That is what I wanted to ask.

But since you can not say because the magazines have to tell us. that's cool. I will wait to find out instead of back ordering one at my LHS.

Exactly. I currently have two Dyna Pulse units; but, they are fairly useless at the track.

I'm wondering why you guys are discharging between heats?I just let the pack cool and recharge,my best battery gets run in the first heat, cooled recharged and run again in the main, then stored with what charge is left in them, then discharged and equalized the next race day.

When you discharge each cell down to a set voltage (usually 0.9 v) it equalizes the pack and conditions all the cells to take the same amount of charge the next cycle. Cells don't all discharge at the same rate so if you don't equalize the cells before the next charge, they will become out of sync with each other.

sorry if these questions have been asked before but

1. can you use a powersupply to power it?
2. How long will it take to discharge my battery after i run?
3. will it improve my battery life?

Can you monitor individual cell voltage during charging with this unit?

Default Discharging

Hey Cuffs,
How long does it take to discharge my pack after a 5min heat, using a Co27 with a 8MPH crosswind coming from the north AND with a possible chance of rain in Portugal.

The only time JCB can pass anyone is during a hot lap and gridding.

I have two questions:

1) is there a fan/fans built in?
2) Does the unit require the positive post to be on a specific side or can I put my batteries in in any direction?
