I guess your concern is that if it's like the Dyna Pulse, it'll take too long on one pack to be practical to use between races when you need your packs to quickly be ready for charging the next round.

It'll be a 30 amp discharge, but I think Jeff meant to say the time it takes averages to be like a 5 amp discharge, not literally 5 amps, pulsing 30A for .5 seconds every 3 seconds I guess would be the math.. I gather the Dyna Pulse does a much slower rate than that.

So 900 seconds is nothing to discharge the remainder of a racing pack.. 15 minutes, plenty of time.

Are these available anywhere yet? I was going to get a Much More but I may just wait if this isn't too far out.

I used my MM for some events already. And use it as follows:
- Dyna Pulse discharge after a run (5-15 minutes to 1V, with 4200 cells, running modified)
- 5 A discharge to 0,9V just before charging.
Works great.
And if Duny Pulse discharge takes longer your motor should be tuned better

Have you used a Dyna Pulse aftyer a run? I can only get 1 pack finished at the track. Then the rest of the week to finishe my other packs.

The info on the Trinity site states that it uses Dyna Pulse 30 amp discharge. So if it really is 6 dyna pulse's in one I personally do not like it. But the 5 amp discharge I do like. I also like the tray to hold the pack.

I only saw one DPD in cuffs pit at the express race this weekend, so it cant take too long considering cuffs ran two classes and had to discharge packs for each class relying on his DPD to discharge both packs... Draw your own conclusions...

I saw Mark looking at cuffs DPD so it must not take long to discharge cause he's fast.

I like the features. Just wanna know how many discharges one can get from a set of AA's before needing replacement.

Hi Jeff,

How long is it taking for you to discharge the remainder of a pack after running Stock or 19T for a race? Thanks.

What was the cut off voltage set to?

I can not believe ( what yes I really can) that when someone want a direct question asked. All they seem to get are a bunch of dumb responses. All I want to know is the 30 Amp dischareging real a Dyna pulse or a true 30 amp discharge.? How hard is that to answer for those that have one. So far Cuffs has not directly answered my question.

I also see others want to know also.

Sorry dude but your question was answered in the very first post.

I have a feeling that you really want to know though is how quick the Pulse rate is ... correct?

I'm assuming you are wanting to know if its a rapid pulse like the Dyna Pulse and Spintec which results in longer time to discharge or if its a slower pulse like the MM unit which discharges more quickly.
