I could care less that they actually exist. You can post all the pics you want. My point is I think this company is using a name to sell batteries illegally. I just don't buy it. Michael Schumacher, a 7 time world champ F1 driver and probably the highest paid race driver in history, wouldn't put his name on anything for less than a couple million dollars or more and there just isn't enough money in battery matching to be able to do that. Especially if it's just one matcher doing them.

Hi,

I didn't want to offend you, I just wanted to make clear that in Germany the cell is already known and we use it with a lot of success.
But I will check for you if the name "Michael Schumacher" is used legally.

Cheers
Chris

The licensing game can be afforded by any legit company even battery companies through license brockers. A main big company who holds a wide ranging contract with Schuey Inc will give a limited license to smaller companies. That's how you'll see mugs, mouse pads, key chains and all kinds of cheap garbage with official licensing displayed.

A picture with your post, when trouble shooting, will probably get more rctech help than without...

That may be. Even if it is a legit use, I doubt MS knows anything about these cells and they're no better than any other IB4200 out there. And there's already people jumping on here saying they'll buy them just because they're "Michael Schumacher's cells" It's just a way to be able to hike up the price and trick people into thinking they're getting something special.

Hi,

you're absolutely right. It is a great marketing trick. A lot of people are buying these cells because there is the autograph of Michael Schumacher on them. What is in the cells is quite clear... Nothing to further talk about...
Here in Germany the cells are at the same price as the IB's (quite clear why...)...

Cheers
Chris

These would be for the serious fanatic / collector types out there. I doubt MS really ever gets out to race these things (though with his money he could very well own a world-class track within his home ) Nothing to get upset about, just another little quirk in the world of r/c.
