..it's the end of days

...terry, if I wanted another clone (you made 4 for me already), do I have to send in the original again or do you just need my name to make one?

No you don't have to send it back. Just send your information and they will send you the 5th one

Joe, we're looking at $65.00 each for repeat orders if you reorder and we already have your ID info/details. We will be reviewing the pricing and also future discounts at the end of the year. Until then the pricing is as on the order form at www.rclaps.com

HarshGuy it's as Nick says, we don't need your AMB PT again to order more clones. Just let us know if you want the same case/LED/lead etc, or if it's changed send us the new details for your order. IMPORTANT please make sure we have your correct address for shipping!!

Terry-Have you tested the I-PT in the Nitro R/C realm? How do they handle fuel, mud, etc.

Hi, yes the i-PT is used in both nitro and electric on and off road with plenty of fuel and mud etc. The i-PT is 100% fuel, dirt and water resistant so no problems. The only thing lacking are case tabs for mounting but it's easy enough to make a plastic or lexan cover to clamp it down.

Speaking of those tabs, even though the i-PT is smaller, I highly suggest that when you add the mounting ears, to place them in the same locations as the AMB personal transponder. Many chassis's are designed with holes to mount the personal transponder. Recent example is the new CRC 1/12th Gen-X car:

Well, this is the first time where a manufacturer made the transponder flush with the bottom, but many chassis's and bumpers have holes in them that are designed for the AMB personal transponder. It would be nice to see the i-PT with the same ears for those holes. Easy to cut them off if desired.

One of the easy ways to spot if a car being sold is actually a 3.2R (and not a 3.1 or "straight" 3.2) is to look for the three holes to mount the transponder between the front suspension.

That's two any way.

Got 2 i-PT's in the mail last week... ran them one full race day ~9 packs and 1 club race so far and they have worked flawlessly. this is truly a great product, thanks Terry!!!... they look great, retain the same small size of an AMB, and work flawlessly!!!

Without looking through 14 pages, did you ever name a price for buying one outright?

Hi Interceptor, i-PT's are only available as clones of an existing AMBrc PT ID# we do need to have your PT sent to us the first time to be able to 'read' the number out. Once we have the ID# on file i-PT's can be reordered at any time without sending your AMB PT to us.

The information we require is on the i-PT application form here: www.rclaps.com

Two questions we get asked quite often are:
Q. What is the longest lead length available?
A. Approx 195mm (standard length).

Q. Can I have a nickname used for my cloned transponders?
A. No, only your last name (surname) or club/store name for hire/house PT's.

I just checked your website and a clone costs USA $89 each?
Did I misshte $69 special?
Is there a discount if you buy 3?

THX, from what I've seen and heard these are the way to go if you have multiple cars....
