For info, basically we started with the PT signal and designed our own improved hardware and firmware to eliminate all the power problems people have. The number on the case is the PT identity (ID) number but it's not the same as the signal. Our i-PT is an improved personal transponder and not just a "copy" of the original AMB one.
Thanks, Terry! I'll be contacting you soon.

Just a quick question. I have to buy a AMB first and then you can copy it right?

here is a question of curiosity.....can I get an IPT with not my #code, but a letter code instead? I believe a very popular racer has a transponder that reads his name, is this possible, and will it be recognized by the AMBrc systems?

At my track the system reads my name over the loud speaker but it is just a regular PT with a number. Perhaps this is what you are referring to as I don't believe it would be possible to have leters as the code.

Question
I would like to clone my original pt and buy an i-PT so I have two of the same#. I have my original pt spliced directly into my servo wires and servo taped to the back of my servo. I'd rather not go through and seperate the two. Would you be able to clone my pt if I sent it along with my servo? To power the pt you would just need need to power the servo. Thanks Terry

You are correct.......send it in and when they are all finished and ready to send it back , they will e-mail you with the price.

That can be done in the timing software. Once your Name and Personal Transponder are entered.

Hope that helps,

You have to get the race director to put your name in the system a RCFOOLZ.
