Lithium Polymer - its a rechargable battery just like Nimh, but has a longer life in some cases, also longer run times, in some cases.
Most sanctioning bodies dont allow these yet for competition, but I know some clubs do.
the price is a huge difference too, as in these packs are 139 USD compared to 50 or 60 bucks for a matched Nimh pack.
