This latest batch 4200SHV cells are the real deal.. There Voltage is avg of 1.22+ @35 amps which at 30amps is over 1.235+ and we have seen high 1.228+ cells which equals over 1.24+ @ 30 amps .. We have also seen these cells be higher than the labels as they really come in after 5 cycles..

Many company's have them in stock...

For care instructions, follow whatever SMC says to do really. Danny is the main importer of the cell and works closely with IB in testing and development of the cell. In my opinion, he knows the batteries better than anyone in the business, not mention the countless national titles won by SMC over the few years...

And the label actually has SHV printed on it, by IB.....if your 4200 don't have SHV on them, they clearly are just regular 4200 cells....

Check out our stock at www.teambrood.com , we have some amazing packs available. All our cells are zapped and matched by SMC.....quality is not an issue....and our prices are among the best on the net.

Hi guys I'm just getting back into the hobby and am looking to get some new cells (my 2000mah Nicads are unlikely to cut it!)

Am I going to need a new charger to charge these IB4200's? I've got a variable rate fet peak detection fast charger, will that do the job? Don't like the idea of having to fork out for another charger and cells!! I forgot how expensive this hobby is!!!

You need to find out if you can adjust your peak sensitivity. Chargers designed for Nicad cells will damage the Nihm cells by overcharging them.

You want to set it for 3-5mv per cell peak detect, or however lowest it will go.

I can only change the charge rate (in amps). Poo! Looks like I'll be maxing out my credit card this month!!! Can anyone recommend a good/cheap charger capable of charging IB4200's? I have a 12v power supply or UK Mains (240v)
