Kissimmee Rc Raceway has nothing to do with this event. I just wanted to clear that up seeing how they are also in Kissimmee. Sounds good but I also could not locate a contact or a group who is in charge. I have no idea what this is about other than what is on the website. I guess we will wait to see what is going on. Seems like the timing is a bit tight seeing how the IIC is one or two weeks before and that race is already sold out. Kraceway races mostly gas and is more work that fun and I would not want to take on any more responsibilities.

I want to wish luck to the promoters of the race and hope it becomes the race it hs set out to be.

So what does the domain registration have to do with anything?

Do you have a point?

The folks putting on this race approached me at the 2005 Carpet Nats regarding consulting for this race. These people want to put on the "grandest, biggest" R/C ever. They took in the Snowbirds and the Nats, and seem to have a general understanding of what it takes to put on a large race. They're background is in Girls softball tournements, so we'll see....

Man this is alot like the idea I had for an off road event, it is Simple, it is a money race... if this is the case, it is great idea and I hope it all works out....

I just hope it is an outside race.... I know... Carpet is big...

it's indoors on carpet
the low class counts is nice to see
money is good
location is good
october is a very nice month in florida
the accomodations are awesome!
kenny holmes at the wheel

the cons:
it's still hurricane season
the vegas race is close to the date
if the past can predict the future....people new to the hobby tend to have weird ideas about what works and what doesn't.
it's on-road racing only!!!!

New updated informtion on this race... 165.00 entry fee for the first class, and 275.00 for two class. Max classes is 2, in either sportsmen or Invitational, if you run one, you can not run the other.. Example, if you run TC stock, you can not run TC mod, as mod is in the "Invitational" group.

Here is the link to the race flyer:

I see that on the entry form that there no place to put what scale you want to run.

I think it will be hard for a lot of people since it is expensive, and is right after the Vegas race, which has a way bigger head of steam behind it.
