Elboogie, you say that the tracking number gives details the package arrived in the US on the 12th, how can this be TiR's fault. 'Out of good will' he may re-send your order, otherwise it would be to claim off the postal company for lose of goods.
I'm not defending TiR but I have used them and only by telephone and the goods have always arrived within a week if in stock.

1st
the guy's on here have brought in good faith & parted with there HARD EARNED MONEY only to be given the rou around & are rightly pissed off with all the chasing

telephone calls from the US to UK ;;;who's going to stay up late to take it
6 hours behind us

packages
it is the senders responsibilty for the package right up till the buyer recieves it on he's/her door step & signed

so TiR has to do the chasing ,unless it's been signed for
even if you have tracking number ,still TiR's problem

this does not reflect well for other UK based company's
comon Tir GET YOUR FINGER OUT & SORT IT

Of course the tracking number says that it arrived in the US but according to Royal Post (who I emailed as well) stated that the order didn't arrive so I emailed them (TIR)to try and straighten it out but to no avail.. When you have cusotmers sending you emails and you don't respond to them and then that person doesn't get the item, I don't care who you are, you are going to get ticked. when you send a total of 20 emails and none of them are answered then that will tick anyone off as well. I have been cordial in all of my emails that I have sent them. Honestly, if they emailed back and told me to go screw myself, I would have had more respect for them than to NOT ANSWER MY EMAILS AT ALL.

As far as telephone, I don't know where you live but it would cost me just as much for me to call the UK from the US for one phone call than I paid for my order so unless someone has a phone card that I can borrow, that isn't a option.

All I am saying is that I thought that I was the only one. That is why I am ticked off. Like I said, it's not the money because I have that , it is the principal.

Like i said in my earlier post, if you have ordered from them and you received your order, then continue to order form them. Once again, I thought I was the only one with the issue but eveidently that is not the case. i do have the ability to look at a situation and if I am the only one with the problem, then the problem may be me. But when you have as many people complain about not getting orders as I have seen on this thread......Like Arsenio Hall use to say....

.......it makes you go Hmmmmmm?

I am not the type of person that bashes companies because I truly love RC racing. They probably are a great company because I see factory guys ordering from them but then again if you get an order From Masami, that is a little different than the average joe order.

I will leave it up to you guys because like I said, I am not bashing, but I did want to post my experience with the company. I would love for them to resend the order but that cant be done if they are not answering my emails.

Screw that. Bash away. That company is officially a joke and a rip off. TiR complaints go way back and they're still pulling the same crap! These threads should be stickied so ever one knows.

And the part that it's "out of their good will" that the resend the order is crap too. When you purchase something on line the seller is responsible to deliver the goods. Not just hand it to the shipping company and wash their hands of it.

I stopped using TIR Worlds CVD's (mentions on the site they are unbreakable) because they kept breaking. You kindly replaced one for me, but then that one broke. I sent you all numerous emails of which I never heard a reply.

Thankfully I have found a fix for the driveshafts though - basically not to use them at all and stick with Schumacher's very own hardened units.

My gripe is why when it says on the site they are indestructable they clearly are not and why when you are contacted you do not reply ?

Tir Racing are a joke!!

I have had problems with so many of their products it is a joke.

QC, just doesnt exist,

Pinions without the threads for the grub screw, centre hole too small, which also means that the pinion isnt quite 48dp and screws your spur.

Screws, drive hole too shallow, inferior quality material.

CVD's axles break all the time.

Spool, Ally retainer spits in a shunt and no spares.

Customer service, now this is the real joke they have failed to reply to all but one of my emails 15 in all, over 4 months or more, failure to return calls, failure to do anything realy.

Ordering, whilst not as bad as some of you on here it took me nearly 3 weeks to get an order out of them. The threat of coming to pick it up saw it here the next day.

No one I speak to has a good word to say about Tir, I am to the point of offering them my services to go in and turn them around if I thought that it would do any good, having worked in customer facing environments for the past 17yrs they are without a doubt one of the worst that I have ever seen.

I got the stuff I ordered!!!!!!!

Going to do QC tomorrow and I'll use it in free training next race weekend (next weekend).

Screaming mails AND phone calls help.

I especially like the way that NO member of the TiR company has had a backlash at this thread - so maybe all we are saying is true then ?

I gave TIR the link to this thread. But the invitation did not lead to any reaction here.

i can see Tir staff not coming on & fuelling all ready tinder box for there product's

there idea or some one else's is stay away & let it this thread die down & dissaper 'then start again some other time

lack of communication is the problem

with guy's thinking this sort of thing should be PM'd or of boards ,i should point out
when the said company's use this board for there own gain (promoting) then it's only fair disgruntled buyer's can air there view's on the same board

I can read there's a lot of people having problems with TIR.

I for one can say I didnt have a problem with them, ordered a spool for the BD last year, recieved it in a week and I havent had any problem whatsoever with it.

Friend of mine orders a month ago, had the same problems as you guys. No parts that arrive, parts shipped wrong, no response from mail, answering machine to talk to. But he received them eventually, he re-ordered some delrin outputs for his spool, same problem and no outputs thusfar.

I guess that if you're lucky you wont have a problem.

The delrin parts will fit but you also need to get a hold of the alu "shims" that enforce the outdrive. And they're not on the ordering list!!! (you can kindly ask in an email ;-0 )

I checked the materials. I had to throw away a couple of screws. The CVDs are ok.

Next week I'll learn how durable it all is.

I've been shopping online for 9 years and the only charge I've ever had to dispute with my credit card company was from TiR. Congratulations TiR. Even porn sites are more ethical than your company!
This is a funny post from TiR in the light of all the above and my own experience:
