It'd be nice if Marty would post on this thread to explain how he plans on fixing this car for Jamie (or return a good portion of his money) .

i reckon since marty hated all the shit he got (which he deserves) that he made a seperate car for jamie which was a totally shit version just to piss him off and then marty will prolly just flee the scene with 200 USD.

seriously, what i saw yesterday was NOT a car. it reminded me of a radio shack toy car and we all know how long they last

jamie, we all feel sooo sorry for you and after all this wait you get shit. a broken car, an unsetupable car and overall, junk. only good thing are those tamiya alloy bits n such.

MLP is NOT a touring car, it is and will always be a concept car which has failed the australian team driver.

I got some issues on my car aswell and other team driver a little patience/minor modification is all you need and this car works really well. And also that is why this car is still a prototype there is still problems/bugs need to be resolved.

You will not fix anything if your just going to all the time something goes wrong you will not achieve anything with that mentality.

Me and other MLP team driver are qiute satisfied with this car if you just have talk to marty privately and not blow eveything out in public. It's kinda sad to think that this is getting out of hand.

I know it's a long wait for you before you got your car and I'm glad you finnaly recieved your car. I have waited longer than you I ordered my car back in august of 2005 and I received my car in december. But did you see me or any of us bitching/crying about that we haven't receive our car. What you and other guys are doing is just childish. Just let it go whats done is done!!!! you can post all you guys want, talk bad about MLP but do you guys think if your accomplishing anything by doing this? I don't think so.

Like I said what's done is done so just let it go. If you have question about the car Jamie just let me know. But please do it privately.

Whats out of hand is guys on Marty's payroll making comments, hardly an independant third party are you?

Husky's MLP car would FAIL 9th grade high school fabrication and I've seen a TT-01 with more chance of being set up to a raceable level.

i drove the car and like i said its a peice of shit!
it dosent take a genious to figure out that you have 3 COUNT THEM 3 different sized wheel hexes on the car, but oh no it must be a problem with tamiya parts so we will just space them out with washers .
YOU MAY CALL THAT A BUG TO SORT OUT
I CALL THAT REALLY [email protected] UP.
IF YOU CANT EVEN GET SOMETHING THAT SIMPLE RIGHT
WHAT CHANCE DO YOU HAVE TRYING TO ENGINEER A TOURING CAR

you said in your other post a few mods are all you need and the car handles really well . Well im not suprised its a TAMIYA 415 with cut and shut bulk heads, center mount motor and dodgy, crooked chassis and top deck.

IF YOU THINK THAT HANDLES GOOD
TRY THE TAMIYA 415. NO MODS TO BE DONE ON THAT ONE AND IT DRIVES EVEN BETTER

if you think that this piece of crap handles and drives well, then go buy a real touring car, such as a t2, and then tell me how it compares to a MLP.

i wouldnt even let a dog drive a MLP, thats how bad it is.

Default MLP crap!!

Yep just like all the guys from here(west oz) that have seen the
mlp touring car i TOTALLY agree the car is SHIT....
If i had to wait as long as Jamie has to receive the car, then that
turned up i would be very pissed. I havent driven the car but have seen
it on the track after a whole day was spent trying to set it up.
Looking at it closely there are way to many things wrong with the car
to even bother to set it up or drive it..
MLP should refund Jamie all the money he paid for the car..

Thats my opinion and the opinion of lots of others as well
my advice stick to a know car XRAY, HPI, TAMIYA, YOKOMO, CORALLY,
all are race proven cars.

Heres a good idea...... If you want the same car get the TOP scythe (sp) it is identical to the MLP car ..... Look it up and tell us on here if it looks just like your car.. So get your money back if possible and buy that car if you want the same car not in crap condition lol

The worst part of this is that instead of making things right, Marty just ran. Not only is his car a poorly designed hack job, but instead of coming on here and making things right with the few customers that he does have, he just runs. Not only is his product laughable, but so is his business sense.
