Default 6 to 5 or 4 cell

think the main idea behind the cell number change might be that the current cell on the market are holding such high MAH when compared to prior years...
that running a 5 cell 4200 or 4300 cells should easily finish a 5 minute race.
I've seen some guys run about an additional 2 1/2 minutes (using 4200's) after a race without loosing too much in laptimes.

This actually might work out in the long run....perhaps even making the future transitions to Lipo or other cell types easier in the coming years..probably because the weight difference would be minimal when comparing a 4 or 5 cell to a Lipo/etc.
just my thoughts..

well anyway back to the X10P4 v2.
i'm sure the car is doing fine.
Fred are you going to run in the Express race at Horsham in the coming weeks.

Runtime will not be an issue if we switch to 4 or 5 cell on TC. The issue by doing this will be mainly the voltage that the battery will put out and this will mainly make the car slower.

Whats the point of running MOD or Brushless if you cant go fast....

Default CNC

Hi Marty, hope you´re fine and the CNC machine let´s you work.
This car looks great and I also can´t wait to try it.

Regarding the 5 cell rule in EFRA, they also lowered the minimum car weight to 1350grams, before that it was 1500grams. Well, what I have heard about it is that it was an ecological decision, as the cells marked is having so many brands and capacities been increased, there is a lot of cells disposal and they are moving to 5 cell because in a short time it represents 20% less cells from 6 to 5, I´ve never run 5 cell, but there are some off road competition that is been won using 5 cells already.
