That's probably the stupidest comment I've heard in a long time. You're basing that entirely on the fact is has a silver aluminium rear bulkhead on the prototype . It might not even be silver on the production car anyway, and I don't see any other xray specific features on there. Its not like the xray has delrin wishbones and outdrives.

I like the T2, but there's no way you can say the new AE is a copy because it has the same color bulkheads, made of the same material as every other decent car out there.

yeah but if u look closely the wishbones are even attahced to the bulkheads like the xray!!

whereas the other cars the wishbones are attached to the chassis

Wishbones on the Corally RDX are connected to the bulkhead . Besides, I still don't think that can justify it being a copy of the xray. RC is all about taking ideas and developing and improving them. Corally and Hot Bodies both used the long rear bulkhead idea before xray, yet it's clearly not 'Just another Cyclone' in silver (I dont think it is either...). Cars like the FT TC4 used the adjustable chassis stiffness idea before xray too, yet xray call it 'patented multi-flex technology'...

RC is all about development, it'd be impossible to have more than 3 or 4 competetive cars if they all had to have different chassis layouts, transmission systems etc.

Ooooh, you know it is just gonna be fast, just look at it, can't you guys see through the bodyshell at the layout, I will have ten. Looks like a touring car to me.

Dunno how you guys get excited by a photo of the rear of the car with shell on... jeees.... looks like an Xray... roflol.

dude-look at how the arms mount to the bulkhead, then look at a t2,and besides that we all know it's a prototype.

After speaking to some drivers that were at the Reedy and had opportunity to check the car out first hand, it's a T2 with longer arms...

it may look like the T2..but the final result will most likely end up different..

Look at the Pro4..it started out as the Alex racing Cuda. using TC3 suspension. and I bet the Cyclone started life as a 415msx...
