Default New battery sizing and fitting issues?

I've been running ETC for 3 years and always 3300GPs.
Now with 3700, 3800, 4200 and 4400 packs, the diameter
and length of side by side packs has increased.

I picked up a IB3800 and it won't fit my TC4, 05 or XXXs.

What's the solution besides dremeling - or filing out the chasis?

You could cry about it... Just file down the slots at a 45 degree angle a few strokes at a time until it fits perfectly. However, this will keep your 3300's from fitting properly. You could also eliminate the last layer of shrink and just use packaging tape over the label.

I run a XXX-S and I had this problem when I got my ProMatch IB 3800's. Since I still had 33's, i decided to put some spacers on the rear battery mount to raise the battery strap up a little. Since I run my batteries forward thats why i put the spacers in the front. I've been doing this ever since I've gotten the batteries and never had a problem. Its easy to change just un-screw the screw and take the spacers out if your going to run 33's and put the spacers back in if your going to run 38's. I also put a longer screw in the rear.
Hope this helps you out.
