Default questions.....?

In the 30 A Dyna Pulse discharge mode what info is shown after a cycle,
Average Volts, Resistance, Runtime (sec.) per cell? Does the unit 30A Pulse each cell?
Is the display backlit?YES.
Are they any fans on the unit? Will a PC interface be added in the future?

On another note: thanks Trinity Web masters.. I like your statcounter.

WHen Im done racing, I usualy ahve about 1400-1600mah left or so in my pack, I want to know how long that will take to discharge your pack.

I am also wonderin when you should use the DPD...

I am used to doing it in this order...

Charge
Run Race
Discharge pack at 20 amps or higher with a MPH cut-off with bulbs
THen Tray on a Novak SMart Tray right away.
Let totaly cool before to be charged for the Main

When I am done for the day. I leave what ever capacity i have left in my packs until next week

When i return next week, I..
Discharge at 20 amps
Tray to .9 wiht smart tray

Let Kool

Charge and go Racing

But with the new IB3800's or the IB 4200's is it a different case?

I would like someone to respond to my post who knows what they are talking about. All the top experienced drivers..

Good luck getting any answers on how long it would take to discharge a pack with this unit. I have been asking that since we heard about it. Seems likes this is just a dyna pulse at the 30 amp rate.

Here's my guess, the dyna pulse discharger takes a long time becasue it has to bring a pack from like 9 volts to 5.4 volts. This discharger is 30 amps per cell so its basically 6 dynapules in one unit, I think. This would mean that your only taking a cell from like 1.50 to .9 Thats a big difference from discharging 3.6 volts to .6 volts. I don't know if anyone will understand what im trying to say but Im guessing it doesnt take nearly as long to discharge a pack on this as a regular dynapulse. I guess we'll see soon enough. Looks like a good product though.

I havent tried a full pack yet but just putting one on there after a 5 minute run it takes about an hour and a half for a 4200. It seems to discharge exactly like a dynapulse.

In 5 amp linear mode it takes about 20 mintues to equalize a discharged pack before charging.

Based off what EA said I might wanna pick up two instead of one then. Hmmm. Dumb question but does this thing do 4 cells too?

Well, I am used to discharging my packs out, traying, cooling when i go to the track, looks like i have to do it the next day after racing or when i get home from the track eh! The 5 amp to .7 for 20 minutes will be perfect!

What is wrong with using the Spintec or the Older Dynapulse?

Default Dpd's

The DPD's are in stock and many shops and distributors have gotten thier orders. You can also purchase it from Trinity directly on thier website.

im playing around with my sample at work right now, seems pretty nice so far. and the AA's powering the unit are a hit with me, one less set of wires streaming across my pit table.
