I missed that line also. I am just soooo happy about this series I can't wait for the first race. Now, after hearing whats going on here the not so famous but very fast Gary Avans is coming out of retirement and bringing his Calandra F1 to as many races as he can get away with. I knew he would not be able to stand it for very long. He may be at the first race on Hixson Pike then join us when he can. Also, he want's to be the announcer at the F1 Challenge this year. This guy will keep you in stitches all day when he's not actually talking about the race.

The cars sell themselves. Otherwise I would send a picture of me holding one. Probably best we don't take that chance.
In other news, the world famous William Mathews just called looking for an F1 car to race in the series. This guy said he would never leave the touring class...got him! We are delaying the start one week because the Co-director's wife is having surgery that weekend. No prob, we will race all summer and into the fall before it ends. Besides, high performance F1's need to have plenty of rest before the flag drops.

It's finally race time. We have had two warm-up races and to the best of my knowledge, most all of the F1 manufactures are represented. After the two warm-up races, it is obvious this is going to be quite a battle. Everyone is really fast. IT'S SHOW TIME!!!!!!!

Marty where are you racing? I have raced F1 at the TCS and it was cool, just wondering where they are racing these days.

Ok I may have missed it and sorry if I did, but what is the web site for this series?

Is that 400.00 just for the car? then add in the servo, esc and motor, correct? Just asking...

Is this F1 series, based on a spec car, tires and motor? Or is it wide open?

Well last year we ran at Indy I have been looking to get the series going here in the west sub-of Chicago.

But no luck as of yet IRP in DeKalb said show up with 3 or more cars and they will let you race.

Well I have been looking at getting 10 car field or more well I have not got to many emails as of yet.

Or even trackside in Milwaukee WI but no luck there! so we will keep going I could do better but I do not have time to work it all out But if I had people to run a bi-weekly event it would be cool!

This web site ? Like mlp ? or this forum? This Forum is for a Big F1 Series that is running in the south.

It is open to all 1/10 scale F1/Indy cars.

Pan cars run stock 27t and 4wd F1 cars run 19T motors! this is the only Rule I know of.

as for the price of our cars email me and I will send you the list.
I do not want this to be a Forum for MLP as well all want it for the New F1 series!

Hello! The "OFISHUL" site is battlefieldraceway.com then click on the forums. We also will post results and info here and formula1-rc.com. The series is being held in Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama. There are two classes F1 and F2. F1 is 2wd with stock motor 6-cell and 4wd with 19T 6-cell. F2 is the same as F1 but with 4-cell. That is so one car can race both classes, just change batteries. We hope this is a class structure that will catch on around the country and put all racers on the same page at local events. This will end with the F1 Challenge later this year where all racers come together for one winner take all event. There will also be a builders class at this event for factory team drivers only to compete against each other for the builders cup. This will mean bragging rights for that company for the year until they meet again at the next challenge. Pretty much anything goes in this class and the only rule current is how they paint the bodies. No motor limits, Li-po batteries are legal, no weight limits. It just has to be an F1 car. They will race as teams of two for the overall win. There has never been a race like this before and we hope everyone that can attend will be there to see it. Now, I must say that this was supposed to happen last year but it was cancelled by a property dispute. Not this time! A lot of people and companies have put their support into this to make it happen and it will be a first for F1 and R/C. Get a car because everyone likes to say they won the first one!

Just so everyone knows, you do not have to own an actual F1 car to race. If you have a 10L or similar pancar laying around just go to vansinvent.com and get one of the Indycar bodies for it and race. The Indy body covers the frame unlike the F1 bodies. Just put the plastic bumper on it to mount the front wing and your'e in like Flint! Or you could get fancy and go to rcindycars.com and just get one of their conversions to turn it into an F1 car with all the trimmings. The whole idea is just to race and have fun doing it. Keep watching here for series info and results.
