Default Has This Happened To Anyone?

i have an ORION PILOT 27T motor and today i decided to clean it.so i took out the bushings and found something peculiar:IT's ball bearings!!!!!! I was like OMG bcos it(the motor) only cost 15bucks arounds here.so i went ahead another step and turned it into a MOD motor by recoiling it to 16T.is this my lucky day or what?THANK YOU TEAM ORION!!!

I've never been brave enough to take the wires off and rewind a motor. That is an accomplishment in itself. I guess I was afraid that the balance would be way off and the performance that I EXPECTED TO GAIN WOULD BE LOST. oops on the CAPS.
Good luck with it.

are you sure you didn't get a "Rush" model? They have BB's and adjustable timing. The Pilots are suposed to have bushings and fixed timing.

You got lucky. Now all you have to do is balance it.

Talking unwinded a stock 27T motor

lee82gx;

I wouldn't make any plans on racing with this FAUX Stock. If anyone finds out (it's online now) at the track they'll ban you for life. OR something equally distasteful. (like drinking Pepsi)

Default Faux 27T Stock

lee82gx;

You should try the Motor in practice to see how you do against the other Stockers. I know if it was ME, I would feel REAL guilty winning a race KNOWING that I was cheating. That's what I like about Nitro so much. Almost anything goes, at least at the club level.
