Team corray 13 double plus no traction on a direct drive car = bad news when it hits a curb drain... axle bent and axle may be bent
other than that it took it good!

u think thats bad? try running a nitro top fuel dragster into a gutter at 120kmph and bent the thing in half....

I had a ridiculous crash just today... Running a 5.5 velociti in my FK'05 at Lazer speedway in Michigan. Near the end of the 150ish foot straight, I hit a practically parked car (stock motor) at 45+mph.. Went about 15 feet down the straight 3 or 4 feet in the air, tumbled and rolled for a few more feet, bounced off the boards, landed upright and drove away... Didn't even tweak the car..:D

wooooowww take it easy on the stock motor issue    ...

i had a bad hit one time i was about to enter the in field ...then suddenly a gas car driven by a newbie hit my car from the right side( cause im going in to a right hand turn) then it makes my car spin to the left and then his car hits me again!!!! two on one shot!! :( :( :( luckly my car is so durable the xray t2 .... the only thing bent is the inside of my motor   the plate that hold the endbell to the can... i say damn that was a hard hit.. that plate is like 3 to 4 mm (estimated) thick of metal....... i will never again drive with nitro cars in the ttrack

when I raced on road tc3, I had some bad crashes involving nitro onroad cars during practice. I no longer race where there are nitro cars.
However I have witnessed some spectacular crashes at the encino velodrom in 6cell modified oval. at over 60 mph. They look exactly like crashes in full scale motorsports. I remember one where car lost traction went up the bank hit the steel railing, body ripped off, the carbon chassis splintered, battery, splinters, suspension/tire pieces showered the track. It was a beautiful thing! probably becz it wasnt my car. I don't have pics but i did catch one crash on video, hi 8, a spun out car was attempting to enter the track on the bank, it slowly attempted to nosed onto the bank perpendicular to the track. the pack came by at over 60 mph and the car vanished off the screen, It look as though it was vaporized.

I race rc vicariously, because it only hurts the pocket book, not me.

cant say I've had worst crash, but this weekend I had a cool crash! Well, maybe just weird...clipped a corner at full speed and the wheel broke off from the hub and flew up in the air about 15ft! Nothing broke on the car though...thats the cool part. Taking off a broken wheel hub from the car was hard.

Anything at the Velodrome is all you need to say. Most of the time there was not enough left to take pictures of.
