Novak GTS / boosting BEC voltage?
 

Sorry if this was posted earlier, I ran a search but couldn't find the relevant information. My question is can you boost the BEC voltage of a Novak GTS from 5v to 6v safely? I'm not sure if you can just solder on a capacitor or if there is some aftermarket kit you can install in the power chain. I do not want to spend alot of money on this project as it will be going into my backup car. Thanks.

I would say don't mess with it and buy that. I use it on my clod rock crawler and it works flawlessly.

Build this... Then with the Novak, don't use the switch on the speedo, just put a switch inline with the BEC and turn it on with that.
