That's right S.I.R. will have an outdoor program this summer.
We will be running outdoors on those rare but awsome sunny day's we get in Seattle.
We will have the option if the weather won't work to move inside because we will be racing out in front of our building, with full visabilty of the many people that drive down So. 180th st.
And that's not all if you order now, we will have the hobby store open for those small problems we all run into on a race day.
YES, 1/10 nitro powered cars will be welcome.
See me for more info
thanks for all the support,
Race on

(if we need to move inside make sure you bring your elec. stuff as well)

If you wanted to start another thread (god, why?) why not on the Racing Forum where tracks like SoCal and Trackside have threads going?

It would probably better suit you, and RC TECH if your newest thread was moved there.

i am confused about this post and the other posts you have made on this thread. you open up with why another thread. As is look over the electric on road forum, this is the only SIR thread i find. As i look over the Northwest forum i can only find one SIR thread, however i find at least three threads from your track. I did find the post from Furturel saying "you are not a moderator, and you are not the internet police" if a true moderator has a problem with this thread then i'm sure they will pm doug and let him know they moved it.

the purpose of this thread in this forum is to let other people.... not from the northwest.... know about the track and whats happening, as i'm sure you know, many people travel, and during those travels they may just want to stop in and check out the some of the local tracks..( i'm sure that was your sole purpose in posting about your enduro on here, wasn't it?).

for some reason and i'm not sure why, there seems to be this love/hate thing going on between SIR and Rain City. When Doug opened this track, he wanted to be different, (oh hes different) he wanted to work with the other tracks in this area to promote the hobby and increase the number of people in it and at the race tracks.

When Doug heard about the carpet needing and being replaced at Rain City he did what i told him at the time was crazy and no one has ever done it or would do it. He held a "Race for the Rug" race at SIR and gave the days proceeds to Rain City. Not sure of the total, think is was a little over 350.00 bucks. Debbie was happy, think she said it paid for the shipping costs.

Doug recently held a charity race for a rare birth defect called CDLS. we had car kits donated by Tamiya, and couple of them were autograph by Seattle Mariners picture Jamie Moyer, and Retired Hydroplane race Chip Hanauer. Total money raised over 2100.00. Doug has also posted that he would like all the tracks in the area to get together one weekend a year and have a regional charity race to raise money, yet he as recieved no responses.

Still Doug wants to work to build support between both tracks.(actually all tracks) At this point i don't see this happening. but what i do see is its only hurting both tracks and thats sad. Debbie has always been a gracious hostess to me the few times i have raced there and hope to race there again someday.

Each track has individuals that make posts that should be taken as post made by that person and not representing any track or track owners. my posts are my posts and come from my opinions and feeling at the time of posting, some i go back and edit some i don't. And Wes i take your comments on here as coming from you and you alone. you do not represent Rain City, if you did i am sure debbie would have had you edit or remove your posts by now. (at least i hope so) And Pat thanks for editing yours.

Default train races

Another cool event happening at Seattle Indoor Raceway.

You read correctly "train races". However, the trains will be made up of three rc cars. The first car will have both steering and a motor. The middle car is just there for looks (the motor and steering will not be functioning). The last car will have steering only. A team of two racers will need to work together to get their cars around the track. This is sure to be fun to participate and watch.

There is also rumors of a figure eight race. <--This one might be a little rough on the car. So bring your favorite already dinged up car.
