Default ESC for Revolution

I have a Revolution Steenari Pro Edition Motor 12x2, and I need an esc for said motor. Something that won't catch fire (like my last esc). I need something cheaper than a Novak, and it needs to be 2"x2" or smaller.

Any advice would be good!

Thanks!

The Twister 2.0 (KO VFS-1) will work perfect on your motor. The 2.0's profile is much safer than the 2.1.

Think the twister 2.0 is way more expensive than a novak....

Not sure about the size requirements but you can't go pass a Tekin G11 Pro.

the VFS-1 Pro Comp (twister 2.1) or the tekin g11pro

vfs will offer the max amount of customization (i have this one)...

but i would try tekin also... they have less customization... but all that you will need.. and i have heard countless good feedback about this esc.

I realize that u said something cheaper than a novak... but about what's the price of a novak... if u run mod... its better to buy one good esc that won't flame up... that to risk anything lesser... but that's just my 0.02

i am extremely satisfied w/ the performance of my twister 2.1

I have it hooked to my laptop and it is amazing.

You are much better off buying a used Novak, which you can find in these boards for relatively cheap. I bought my GT7, that was basically brand new for $75. I did buy it from the brother of a guy I've raced with before, but he, along with everyone else on this board, is stand up, and will not try and rob you. There is so much on the line when you run a cheap ESC, and if it blows up, you will likely be replacing more than the ESC. The best way I can describe it is- you are paying for reliability, not performance. Think it over. Cheaper is (generally) never better in this hobby.
