I am using the Trinity stock 19T. The track is medium size. Just like the CEFX track, but a little smaller. I rebuild the motor after every run, so I don't think it is the motor's problem. Also, I use the battery pretty much every week, so I am really not sure what is wrong with it.
If you can suggest me something, that will be great. Thanks in advance

Just this one particular pack, or every pack you have?

Is every pack I have. That is why I am wondering if I am doing something wrong with the gearing. I talked to a few people and they suggest me to go with 31/88 just to try it out. Wil you suggest the same?

Assuming that your car is okay and the motor is okay, I'd say it's time to run your packs on some equipment and see what you have. I've seen many packs that people thought they had well cared for, drop 1000 mAh, easy.

Thanks. I will do that and check out them out as well. Except the packs, do you have any other suggestions for me?

Short of building a crummy motor or having your drivetrain full of fuzz and not rotating, even if you used a pliers to rotate the spur gear, about all you could blame, with that rollout, would be the packs.

Thanks very much for your help. I will try it out tomorrow and see what is going on. I hope is just the packs, like you say, but still, which means I will have to get new packs!!!
Oh well, I guess this is racing and this is what we need to do to compete!!
But in a way, this will set me back some $$
Thanks again

They would be made from delrin and CNC machined. If there is interest in these pieces please let me know as it is almost as easy to make 5 set rather than one. Probably do the 1/2 mm steps too.

Pic of 2.5mm added.

Ok, I finally got them done. I ended up doing a 0,.5,1.0,1.5,2.0,2.5, and 3.0. At first I thought of doing a 3.5 but the axle would have hit the inside of the axle tube and a 3.25 was just too small of a jump from the 3.0. I have 4 full sets to sell and I'm not sure if I will do any more. This ended up takeing more time and being more trouble than I thought it would. I have attached an actual picture of the 1.0. If you are interested send me a PM or better yet an email and put in the Sub. Corally. [email protected] the cost will be $40.00 plus shipping. I know this is a little more than I originally said but I feel the are worth it. Paypal Payment.

From http://international.corally.com/def...ernational.htm

"The new front end for Corally SP12X, compatible for US Spec (#00067) and Original (#00066).

Since Daivd Spashett has become 1:12 IFMAR World Champion 2006 with Corally SP12X US Spec with a special front end of which brand we all know about, and the demand from end-consumers never seemed to cease, we have finally decided to offer them in our repertoire....
"

Seems like Corally has given up on their own front end. Sounds like a full blown declaration of bankruptcy to me. Imagine Ferrari giving up on their engines and offering Chrysler parts instead.

Gotta say guys, a LOT of people run the AE front without giving the Corally a fair go. A couple of the guys at our local club are National A final standard, and they use the Corally front end with great results. I know that a lot of the people that run the AE front end only do so because that was what the world champ did when winning the worlds so it MUST be better. Might be for him, not so for everyone else though, don't you think?

On a side line, I know the original 12x had really short wishbones (if you look at some of the pics in the booklet that comes with the kit, the original had the cells the other way across the chassis) and the team members had loads of problems trying to get the chassis set up well. That idea was re designed to have longer wishbones which is what you get in the kit now. Do you think that the team guys went to the AE frontend when the only other choice the original, which they knew was not a fast ticket?

Cheers all.
