Rollout is how far the car travels for 1 revolution of the motor. To figure rollout, multiply your primary drive ratio (spur/pinion) by the internal ratio of the car. Then you have to divide the circumference of your tire by your final drive ratio (spur/pinion x internal ratio). for example, on my JRX-S I'm running a 34 tooth pinion with a 128 spur with CS-27 premounts.. The circumference of my tires is 7.85 inches..

7.85/((128/34)1.83)

3.76 x 1.83 = 6.88
7.85 / 6.88 = 1.14 or 29mm rollout.

With a CO27, you probably want about a 1.08 or 27.4mm rollout

Confused yet?
